Robert ‘Bobby’ Kabonero, the 24-year-old son of Ambassador Richard Kabonero and Grace Kabonero, died on May 9 after a long illness.

Bobby had been receiving treatment at a Nairobi hospital for three months. Doctors fought hard to save him, and his family and friends prayed endlessly, but he passed away surrounded by loved ones.

Born on July 31, 2000, Bobby was known for his bright smile and kind nature. He recently interned at Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kampala, showing the same dedication to service as his father.
