Namulindwa, now based in the US, says she had just joined the Vision Group TV station as an intern when Bebe Cool came charging.
Gagamel Entertainment boss Bebe Cool was once vexed by TV host Flavia Namulindwa, that he made calls to the media house bosses to have her fired.

At the time, she says, she had been picked to sit in for Miles Rwamiti who was feeling unwell. Her boss, Hajjat Hadijah Nabukenya liked her and gave her a chance to do the show.
Namulidwa says one of the stories she did was about Bebe Cool, and the brewing chaos inside Gagamel.
She had been friends with Eighton Sente, one of the Kiwoko Boys duo who personally gave her a scoop that he was leaving Gagamel.
When she broke the news, the 'Mbozi Za Mwalwa' singer was furious.
“Bebe Cool called Kabushenga (then Vision Group CEO). He even came down to Bukedde and demanded that I be fired because I was spreading false rumors,” Namulidwa narrated on her YouTube Channel
"Thankfully, my boss Hajjat Hadija Nabukenya was not the kind to be pressured into firing staff, so she defended me. Besides, I had all the proof about my story and I showed it to them and Bebe Cool backed down.”
Eventually however, Namulindwa and the Gagamel Entertainment boss became close friends and he became very supportive of her career.
When she started her own dance troupe, "Dance & Beats Cultural Group" as a side hustle, she says, Bebe Cool was one of her first clients, hiring her dancers to feature on his 2016 hit ‘Kabulengane.’
At the time of her retirement from Bukedde TV in 2020, Namulindwa had become a household name through some of her beloved shows at the station including “Oluyimba lwo,” “Ekyenkya,” “Full Doze.
