'I knew he was the one when he made me laugh' - Etania on loving Baraka

"We were in Guvnor and we fell in love over a whiskey.." said Mutoni in a video shared by NRG Radio where she co-hosts a drive show.

"It was love at first sight. It didn't take us time. I love that he's a soft-spoken person. Very kind. Very funny. I knew he was the one when he made me laugh. I love that he loves me."

In the video, Etania Mutoni, who also goes by Life of the Party, said she enjoys going out with him to dance.

Their romance became public after she made the revelation during one of the episodes of Kampala Creme, the reality television series that airs on Pearl Magic on Sundays. Baraka also confirmed the relationship during different media appearances.

Meanwhile, Joshua Baraka, also recently told the media that his crush on Baby Gloria, who also featured on some episodes of Kampala Creme, melted away.

"For me, Baby Gloria, let me just clear, maybe the air. Baby Gloria is an acquaintance, is not someone I really... she's not really like I would say my friend. She's someone I'm acquainted with. We've jazzed. We've talked before. And, yeah, she's a nice person," said Baraka. "... And then, I said I had a crush on her. But that was a long time ago. Yeah. Crushes come and they go."

Joshua Baraka broke through the mainstream music industry with Nana in 2023 and it was among the most-watched music videos that year. On her part, Mutoni launched into the limelight after she maneuvered her way to share the stage with Wizkid when he was performing in Kampala in 2017. Etania was noticed by the Nigerian artiste as security tried to block her and he called her for a hug.

She has since worked several gigs, including TV and radio presenting, hosting events, acting and deejaying.
