Karole Kasita has been enjoying the success of her remix to "Chekecha" with singer Winnie Nwagi and Vinka. However, in light of the feud, Kasita seemingly chose to side with Sanyu highlighting her contribution to her career and nurturing her, something fans did not take kindly to.
The atmosphere among music industry fans is tense with the fresh conflict between artists Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu over the Kololo Airstrip concert. Karungi, who has finally responded, says she isn't backing down and has asked fans to pick a side. Singer Karole Kasita has been caught in the crossfire after she tagged Sanyu in an appreciation post.

Fans and followers in the comments were torn between taking her caption seriously or as a sarcastic remark to Sanyu's claim of being a "mummy" to Sheebah.
Some fans called her out for crediting Sanyu for the "Chekecha remix" success instead of the two artists who featured on it.
Kasita and Sanyu have a music collaboration project titled "Mwoto".
Comedienne Anne Kansiime also featured in the comments seemingly trying to put out the fire Kasita's post had started. Kansiime is often seen in Karungi's company and the two seem friendly. She was also spotted in Karungi's new music video for the song "Only Girl".

Karungi recently responded to Sanyu booking her date and venue for her YOLO festival. She recorded a video of herself holding a shot's glass of liquor saying that she's the "real b*tch" and asking her "real b*tches" to get behind her. She was wearing a T-shirt promoting the festival.
