Appearing on NRG Radio's morning show recently, Prim Asiimwe posed a question to the duo: "If Lukoma reached out for a collabo now, what would happen, are you working or not?"
Kateleya & Kandle don't feel Hellen Lukoma's vibe.

Kandle responded: "To be honest, you really need to have good vibes in a studio. You need to have good energy for you to make something nice. All the collabos we've done, they've been out of relationships we've built.
"If someone woke up and said whatever she said and then she wakes up and she wants a collabo I would say no because I really want to be happy in the studio.
"We have to be on good terms... I would say no because there is no chemistry."
The beef between the duo and Hellen Lukoma started when the latter was asked to offer them advice, with the interviewer citing her experience working in singing groups.
During that August 2022 interview, Lukoma said: "I don't have advice for them. They started alone, why should I give them advice? Am I the one who brought them? Am I their mother? Let them do their thing."
When they landed an interview recently, Kateleya and Kandle saw an opportunity to sting Lukoma.
Kandle: For how long has Hellen Lukoma been singing?
Interviewer: You want to 'set me up'?
Kandle: No, you can tell us?
Interviewer: At least 10 years. Because she sang and danced [under Obsessions] and H.B. Toxic, and later a solo career.
Kandle: And for how long have you known us?... Isn't it two and a half years? Right now who has hit music?
Interviewer: You're putting me in a 'dangerous' position.
Kateleya: Tell us... who has hit music now?
In her latest media interview, Hellen Lukoma was asked to comment on what the duo said.
Interviewer: Kateleya and Kandle said you don't have good music.
Lukoma responded: Who said?
Interviewer: Kateleya?
Lukoma: Who is that, the one with disorganised teeth?
Interviewer: Yes. The one who looks Rwandan. [Most people think the Rwandan-looking one is Kateleya, but she is Kandle.]
Lukoma: What did she base on to say that?
Kateleya and Kandle are currently under the management of Theron Music.
