Wine afternoons: Iryn Namubiru has kept the resolution she made in 2022

'It's always wine o'clock somewhere' and such is the case for Songstress Iryn Namubiru who has posted a glam look enjoying a glass. But there's another rule the 41-year-old artist has abided by since 2022 and it is responsible for 'the body that won't quit'.

At the start of 2022, when we were all wiping the quarantine dust and sleep from ourselves, the singer acknowledged one of the challenges that plagued most people.

Despite having the biggest time off in recent history, many of us fell out of fitness and workout routines for various reasons including barred access to gyms and limited movement.

The mother of two was not immune to this effect. So by the time January 2022 rolled around, she made the promise to get back into shape, both physically and mentally.

"Health-wise, how has all this Stay-at-home period left you? I gained extra kilos due to eating anything and everything at any time ( some beer too 😛🙈)yet so lazy to exercise! 2022, I am looking forward to a healthier me, physically and mentally. 💪 #LetsGetStarded, " she said.

With more time outside and the world waking up from a slumber, the singer seems to have returned to her best physical and mental shape.

In May this year, she announced that her music catalogue had been uploaded on digital platforms, "Oh God is good! 🙏. You can listen to all my Old and never before released songs on BoomPlay, iTunes, Tidal TikTok, YouTube, Napster, Deezer, Amazon, Spotify, and AppleMusic......ENJOY🤗❤️."
