"Welcome to JDC world. Bruno Kiggundu here, also known as Bruno K, and in JDC acts as teacher Andrew. It's my first time to be on Seri acting. It's been quite challenging, but I've learnt a lot of things and it's fun. You meet these new, different kinds of people and JDC has all these public figures, these amazing children. It's amazing. The crew is amazing. The director is amazing. It's the first musical that I've had that involves children," she says.

Fellow artists have congratulated him on his new status including actresses Malaika Tenshi and Dianah Nabatanzi.

Kiggundu first appeared on the music scene when he participated in the Airtel Trace Challenge. He came in second for the cash prize of Shs100 million, an outcome he did not take well saying, "I beat Sandra on stage, everyone saw that. Maybe they judged wrongly I don’t know. Well like I said music competitions are full of politics. You can see that our results were delayed and the judges themselves over disagreed at one and all that is just politics. All I can say is that I walked out as a winner and proud of myself."
