The trio posted their set-off pictures saying "On our way see you soon Kampala." They seem to have travelled without an adult from Canada. However, their father and a few relatives were waiting on the other side to welcome them. The youngest rushes into her father's embrace before the other two follow.

"It was a wow moment to see dad again 🙏. We were glad to be home again🙏," they posted on social media.

This is the first time they are visiting since their departure back in 2020 to live with their mother in Canada. A lot has happened since then including the change of citizenship. Back in May of this year, they posted a picture showing cut-up Canada identification cards in celebration of getting Canadian citizenship.

This display caused some backlash from the comments because some people thought they had cut up Uganda National Identification cards.

Steven Mutesasira has been keeping up with the three overseas, especially on their musical journey as seen on Got Talent and Esther's graduation from high school.

In the video, Mutesasira is seen expressing shock at how grown the children are since he last saw them.
