Sunna Ben’s baby mama Mary Nambayo is dragging to court fellow journalist Bina Babie for Shs1bn over allegations surrounding paternity of her son.
In a notice to sue letter dated March 14, 2025, Nambayo argues that Bina Babie uttered defamatory statements against her as she asserted that Ssuna Ben is not the rightful father to their son.
The statements were made during the much-publicised property fight she had with Suuna Ben.
According to the notice, Nambayo’s strained relationship dipped further following the statements as Ssuna demanded a DNA test to prove the allegations.

The couple then carried out a paternity test to put the matter to bed and Nambayo says she was vindicated by the results of the test.
“Around February 2025, on a show with Ms Doreen Nasasira and Mr Katende Isaac aka Kasuku, you uttered defamatory statements against our client win which you vehemently asserted that our client misrepresented to Mr Ssuna Ben that he was the father of Ssuna Ben Kiyimba, her child, whereas not”, part of the notice reads.
Now, Nambayo demands that Bina Babie retracts her statements and also pays her Shs1bn.
“Our client demands compensation of Shs1,000,000,000 (Shs 1000,000,000) for disgraceful utterances which were intended to exacerbate her relationship with Mr Ssuna Ben and tarnish her social standing,” the notice added.
Nambayo expects her compensation within the next five days.
