Breaking the Silence
Ava Peace spoke candidly about the abusive relationship, which she claims involved frequent beatings and manipulation by her former boyfriend.
Despite initially keeping her struggles private, she later realised the power in speaking out and began to use her platform to raise awareness.
“At first, I kept it private, I could not speak about what I was going through. But later on, I realised that I was not the only person going through it, and that is why I decided to open up,” Ava explained.
Although she has chosen not to name her former partner, she expressed her hope that he would reflect on his actions and understand the harm he caused.
“I hope that he will not do it to someone else,” she said, adding that speaking out was part of her healing process.
Ava also encouraged young women to learn to move on from toxic relationships, advising them that there is always something better waiting for them.
