"Let's leave things the way they are. I won't talk about that. I won't say anything about it. But what you saw is what it is," said Taylor when media personality Ruth Kalibbala Bwanika asked her to clarify rumours that the couple that recently had twins had split.
"Personally, I'm not a person of stunts. Someone may think it's a stunt... I'm too honest for stunts."
While Taylor claims it's not a stunt, they have previously hinted about separating until she released a song as rumours were still swirling.
They recently welcomed twins and Ssebunya revealed they had been trying to have a baby for the past eight years.
"We had tried for eight years looking for a child. We had tried and failed. We were both worried. And she reached a point and started wondering what was wrong... We tried all different types of doctors, everything," said Ssebunya while appearing on Sanyuka TV.
He, however, said that whenever people would ask him, he would say they were not ready to have a child so that the public wouldn't know what they were going through.
Ann Taylor, who works with Sanyuk TV, delivered twins on December 12, 2023. SB4 expressed his overwhelming joy on social media, thanking Taylor for her strength and making him a father.
“For the first time, I have failed to get the exact words to explain my joy. it’s been a long journey. Thank you for being the strongest woman in the world and thank you for making me a father. Mubulumi bwo Nze mwenfunye ebitiibwa kati ndi salongo,” he posted.
Taylor, real name Anna Kyamulabi Mayanja, introduced SB4 to her parents in 2020.
On March 4 of that year, she shared pictures from the function which was held in Kasanga, Kampala, and captioned them: “Papa you taught me how to love again."
In 2022, Ann Taylor left Bukedde TV where she had worked for eight years to join Sanyuka TV.
Ssebunya got his nickname from his YouTube channel, SB4 Media, through which he relays human interest stories. Using his channel, the soft-spoken former TV personality has catapulted many into the limelight.
